Patch test
Couldn't load pickup availability
A patch test is strongly recommended at least 24–48 hours before any treatment involving adhesive, tint, bleach, or chemical solutions.
This includes:
-
Lash Lifts & Tints
-
Eyelash Extensions (Classic, Hybrid, Volume)
-
Brow Lamination, Henna, Tinting & Bleach Brows
While not mandatory in all cases, patch testing helps reduce the risk of irritation or allergic reaction. It takes just 5–10 minutes and can be booked separately before your treatment.
📍 Done in person at our Caversham studio.
💷 Free of charge.
If you choose not to have a patch test, you may be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day.

What Happens During the Patch Test?
What Happens During the Patch Test?
For lash lifts, tints, lamination, henna, or bleach brows:
A small amount of product is applied to the skin (usually behind the ear or inside of the elbow) to check for sensitivity. You’ll leave it on and monitor the area for 24–48 hours for any signs of irritation, redness, or swelling.
For lash extensions:
A patch test involves applying 3–5 thin lash extensions to your natural lashes using adhesive, usually on the outer corners. This allows us to test for any reaction to the lash glue on the actual lash line, not just the skin. The lashes are left on and monitored over 24–48 hours.
If you experience any itching, burning, or swelling, please contact us immediately.

If you choose not to have a patch test, you may be asked to sign a disclaimer acknowledging that you’ve declined one and accept full responsibility for any reaction.
